The company is 100% black industrialist South African woman owned. We have a strong need and goal to grow our brands and to become industry leaders across the Southern African and Sub Saharan African countries.

Our company as a model for community development
Our focus agro-processing vision is based on the small scale farming model, recognizing that small to medium scale farms are not only an economic tool, but are also a community organizing and development tool, and a power-building tool. It is about small to medium scale producers and about giving guaranteed markets and fair prices, inclusive of the requisite infrastructure and capacitation, while acknowledging that the model is more valuable than the product being produced.
The company is based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. The company and owners believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others.
Yakar Global will engaged in farming activities in both rural and semi-urban areas for meat production. However, as an SME scale farm, it has recognised that there are large barriers to entry for emerging producers.
The availability of meat production to small producers is a problem due to preferences given to larger producers. Yakar Global has therefore incorporated into its model, infrastructure development as well as training, management and marketing expertise.
